About Wade

Wade Steven Wilson is more than the headlines that have come to define him. Before his legal history became the whole story in the public eye, he was simply Wade. He was a son, a brother, a friend, and a young man loved deeply by those who truly knew him.

From an early age, Wade was curious, playful, and full of life. His mother, Candy Wilson, has always held on to the memories that show who he was at his core.

“Wade had such a light in him as a child,” she said. “He loved to laugh and play, and he carried so much kindness in his little heart. He was not perfect. No child is. But he was ours, and we loved him.”

People who grew up around Wade talk about a boy who stood up for others and made people laugh. He had energy that filled a room and dreams that reached farther than his circumstances. He wanted to do something that mattered. He wanted to make people proud.

Life did not unfold in a straight line. Like many young men, Wade faced challenges that shaped his direction. Circumstances, systems, and choices collided, and the result changed the course of his life. Even so, the people who love him still see the heart he always had. They still see the humor, the loyalty, the desire to be better, and the humanity that has never disappeared.

This page, and the movement behind it, exists to remind the public that a life is not defined by a single chapter. Wade is still the son his mother prays for every night. He is still the brother whose absence is felt in laughter and holidays. He is still the friend people defend because they remember the person, not the headline.

We believe in justice as a real promise, not a slogan. Wade deserves the same process, fairness, transparency, and dignity that every human being should receive. His story is not finished, and neither is the fight for a fair outcome.

She asked the community to stand with Wade and to stay committed to justice, transparency, and a fair process. Her words remind us that meaningful change is never created alone. Standing united honors Wade’s story and moves us collectively toward a future where fairness prevails.
