Recent Status Change

We are aware that Wade’s public status recently changed to reflect “Not in Confinement,” and we understand that this may have raised questions.

Wade remains at UCI. Internal housing adjustments within a correctional institution can happen for different reasons. A status line on a website does not always reflect the full context of what is going on.

We want to gently ask everyone to avoid drawing conclusions based on a single update. These systems show classifications and internal movements, not the complete picture.

As a team, we remain in contact and are staying informed. We are paying attention.

At the same time, Wade is still entitled to privacy. Not every internal matter needs to be discussed publicly. Protecting that privacy is important, and we will continue to handle certain things quietly and respectfully.

We appreciate the steadiness this community continues to show. Your patience, maturity, and ongoing support truly matter.
